Question Seat Covers for a Z3

Are the Seat Covers replaceable on a 1996 BMW Z3? Several years ago I had a customer with a Corvette, with leather Seats. She brought in some replacement Seat Covers they looked O.E. The old ones were fairly easy to remove, had zippers, and the new ones went on fairly quickly.

Does anyone make replacements such this for BMW?

haha, oh man, you're gonna have fun with that job! there's not much play in the seat skins. I've just about wanted to burn my car to the ground trying to replace that freaking seat belt retaining clip once it broke.

Most adequately set-up upholstery shops can re-make seat covers for your car. Make sure it's one that you've seen end result work from though, as you want those suckers on TIGHT so that there's no ripples in the leather. Z seats would look so wrong being "plush".

my guess would be in the $1000-1500 range depending on grade of materials used. Have you checked any local wreckers for seat availability?
