You could probably blast them and and ceramic coat them...

I say keep them chrome. Your car is black, need a little contrast, and people need to see the center exhausts, which is awsome.

*gasp*... oh reeeeally...?

You're right, they would look great on the 6er with the subtle chrome trim that it has. Though, I wonder if they're going to be the correct size...? 45mm you say..? Is the next set also 45mm..? Let me check my sizing...!

You know my opinion on chrome but for exhaust I think its A-OK then again I would have to see the black ones if it were my car and choice. For now my vote is on the chrome.

I think they'll look great Mark... a little chrome on a black car will essentially just reflect shiny black.

As a rule, I don't like over-chroming things. But on a black car, chrome exhaust tips could look awesome. Why don't you slide them on and take a pic? Who knows, you might like the look of it.

Mark,

My euro has a pair of busted-ass chrome tips that I've been trying to replace. I got a set of the 46mm ones that you can still get from the dealer, but they're too short. If you know where I can get a set, or if yiou want to part with a set, let me know.

Jay, If you can find a pair of OEM Shadowline 45mm tips, you can gladly have these. I want my M5 to be stock so prefer the the OEM tips. Let me know before I try and strip these etc.
The second set I have coming is sort of spoken for by a member of this board. (Blake) If he decides not to take them you can have those ones right away. They cost me $75 shipping incl. from Germany. Not sure if they have any more sets.
