Won't putting in an M30 throw off your 50/50 weight?

I'm not knocking your project, just curious.... I know Hartge did the H35, so just wondering, if it's noticably more nose heavy.

Good Luck with your install...! What tranny are you going with?

you should supercharge it ahahaa

suprisingly the m30 wieght is alittle ofer 100 pounds more than an m20 with a/c and the battery in the front!

my bat. is in the back and im not running a/c...from what ive researched its not a huge difference handling wise and i've been looking at ways to lighten up the front alittle ie. a carbon fiber hood later on(yes painted body colour!)lol

im using the getrag 260 out of an 89 735 as well as the motor(after i met al and told me he has a 265 on the shef!)

Alpina made a b6 which was an m30 b34 pushing 260hp and yes for more info search it on youtube and you'll see

bmw south africa made a 333i as well!

so i figure if alpina did it..then it must be ok!

well i figure i have another 8 maybe 10 hours of work as this is all new to me but fun and exciting

man it looks sexy in the engine bay guys....all those time watching vids on youtube with guys driving and first firing their e30 m30s and now its becoming a reality

as i am a 20 year old kid with 6 months experience this is all new and exciting for me and am working like a mother f$*£"% to make it happen

on another note will be looking for an e36 m3 steering rack for the car as mine is on its way out...and recieved stanless teflon coated brake lines for the old girl as the old ones when pinches started to show cracking lol (not scary at all)
