Man we should get some people and beers together for "The moment of truth!"

I would love to see it fire!

Congrats bud...

I remember back almost a year ago when you had mentioned this plan you had for your car. Nice to see that you've actually gone and done it..!

Ive seen the engine a few weeks ago when it was on the stand in al's shop and cant wait to see it fire. I know what your feeling right now, im doing the 5 speed conversion on my 6 series (after many many set backs)and I wanna hear the same sound come out of my tailpipes just as bad. good luck and congrats!!

Sorry guys, but I gotta kybosh that idea. It'll be Adam and I, alone for the first fire. I've been in this business WAY too long, and perhaps it has made me a little cynical, but it's going to be far far far less stressful to Adam, if no one is around to see the first key crank. Too many things to go wrong, shit to happen, etc. If a bunch of people are around, and she don't fire, the stress level goes through the roof. If only Adam and I are there, we can stay relaxed, troubleshoot the problems, and get it fired.

Very valid point!

Never thought of that; but it is very very true.

I really hope we are not Jinx' anything right now.

Good luck with the turn on the M30... Me and Tomek are sweating over the first turn of the KA24 and I assure you it is not a comfortable thought.

You will get it going though bro! Al will get it going! Not a matter of "if", just "when".
