Blakeoffire's pictures | This article/claim was kind of annoying, seeing as how the M3 CSL used for this particular attempt was in no way, a production car. A private tuning company is responsible for this one-off M3. They added a supercharger (upping the bhp to 600), big wings, vents and such, stripped out the interior, etc. etc... I share the same sentiments as others on Pistonheads; that unless I can go down to my BMW dealer and order this exact car, then I'd be rather hesitant in proclaiming this M3 as a 'production' car. It's a bloody race car...!  Plus, I thought the Radical holds the 'ring record for a proper production car...  (under 7 min now...)B. |
