climate control lights are a ***** to replace, and you will most likely have to goto the dealership to buy replacement bulbs. (I went to Lordco, and they didn't have the size).

Basically you just need to pull off the fan control knobs, and the slider knobs, then I think there are couple bolts hiding under them. After that, there are 2 screws on the bottom of the console that is a pain in the ass to get to.
Once the cover is off, you will see the bulbs. They are cheap, so replace them and hopefully you get the lights back on.

the bulbs are expensive!!!
or if you dont want to buy bulbs. take the ashtray bulb (2 of them, front and rear)
put it in the climate control thingy. same bulbs. then if you want to have light in the ashtray, the replacement is lotsa easier.
the obc light can be bought at the source or what was it i forgot

yes thoses bulbs were expensive at the BMW dealer. but to my surprise i found the bulbs in a local auto parts store. For two bulbs they were only $2.50. but i did have to go to the dealer to get the OBC light, $5 for one.
Any way i got it fixed
thanks for the help
