I'll try to get some pictures together. The car is abit rough but I love her just the same. The picture of your 2002 brings back memories of my 1970 2002. I loved that car and swore I would drive it forever. It got sandwitched between a Buick and a Chrysler one rainy day and that was the end of her.

Hi Terry,

Glad to know you are starting to get more comfortable on the Site!

I don't currently own a BMW but have been looking a several recently to purchase. I would like to have the one in my avatar picture but don't think that will happen. My husband and I have gone to look at several in the last few weeks but often when you see them on line and actually go to see them they are not always in the shape they say they are in their classified ad.

Cathy
Some things worth having are certainly worth waiting for. Maybe a trip to California or the Southwestern US should be a part of your quest. I'm thinking the same for another e28. My 535is is getting a little crusty in the lower regions at critical structural points and may not be worth fixing. I hate to give up on an old friend but it may be the for the best. Good luck in your search. The 2002's are so simple to fix, if you find a rust free example, and so much fun to drive.

Thanks Terry

We seen a classified ad for a 1984 325 a couple days ago and when we got there we did not realize it was an e model until we went to look at the car. I loved the car and it was in great shape (the color was nice too) My husband really wants an 1989 to 1990 e30 so I guess we will continue to look until the right one comes along.

Ya it being an 84 gives it away, we didnt get the 325i till 87 in North America. Alot of early 325e's were badged as 325's. Id suggest either a 87-88 325is. or 89 and up 325i.
