| newbie | Towing a 1986 325E Just got a 325E that is not running but is said to be in good shape, stored for the past 3 years. I have not seen it and know almost nothing about BMWs. I need to tow it about 300 miles to my home and plan to use a car dolly that lifts only the front wheels. I believe the car is RWD and that probably means I should remove the driveshaft. I this an easy task? I plan to bring a floor jack and all my usual tools. Are there any problems or issues with towing that I should be aware of? I would appreciate any advise. Thanks |
