Nice to meet you. Should have joined years ago.

Hi gang. I am an auto-mechanic and I work in the lower Mainland. I should have joined this group years ago. I didn't know that so many of the members lived in Greater Vancouver. I discovered this site while doing some research into a 2002 restoration that a friend of mine wants to start on.
I do not own or ever did own a BMW. I drive a 1995 Isuzu Trooper that shares the same Automatic Gearbox as many BMWs of that age. I'd probably buy a "three and a quarter" if I was to own one. I need a good 4x4 to be able to where I want when I want without worrying about getting a few scratches and bruises. I work on BMWs all the time and hope to be able to help out with technical problems that some of you might have. That's about it.
