| Senior Member | Welcome to the forums. I got a idea- Bring some form of a internet-connected device in which you can access the forum, once you go to purchase, ask us before hand (Whoever may be online) for some advice. That, or, bring a friend who knows a few things. |

| Senior Member | Rust in trunk under battery tray(rH side), around rear plate under plate lights, and sunroof panel are the most common. Check for any sign of water in trunk as rear light gaskets are a known leakage point. Best to take it for a pre-purchase inspection before commiting though. Its cheap insurance. Where are you located? |

| newbie | Hi. Rust is the main thing. It might not cost you anything to have a bodyshop look at it. If you still want it then you should do a mechanical inspection on it. If it passes that then check the accessories. Carefully check out the instruments, door locks, sunroof, radio (radio code), ABS brakes, upholstery and other stuff you might think of. I will keep an eye on your progress. N |

| newbie | I went to pick up car, the kid said it doesn't run. I got it home, put battery charger on it and fired right up with no problems. It is a 5 speed w 299,000 miles. Runs great, motor sounds good. Had to try a burn out.. excellent black marks left on the road !! |

| Senior Member | Nice work lisa. I was wondering how i would respond nicely to u saying it was an auto. Thank god i dont have to. Looks like you have an "is" airdam on the front. One tire mark or two?. If your interested you can drill the shocks that hold the front bumper and push it in so it sits flush with your airdam. Nice aesthetic improvement. Pm me and ill tell how to do it. |
