Smile e46 rookie - own a 2001 325ci - take a look

Hi there

I'm new to this forum- Toronto area resident and this is my first bmw - i've been driving 99.99% japanese cars for the last 10 years or so and this time i decided to go with bmw - although maintainance / parts are fairly expensive, but then i said what the heck, lets give it a shot ..
I'll upload some pics, any feedback, suggestions, tips will be much appreciated.

I think you mean to say E46. To alidagr8, it looks to be in great shape, with amazing!! mileage. 61,000 km in 7 years..unbeatable. My father has a 2001 325i 5 spd with about 63,000 km, and he has had zero problems, yours should be the same.

Let me think... don't skimp out on premium gas. Put 91 octane minimum. If it's out of warranty, take it to a private euro repair shop with a good reputation for any repairs/oil changes/maintenance. Also, if you're driving it through the winter, invest in a good set of four winter tires as rear wheel drive can be tricky in the snow.

Thanx Steve, i got bridgestone blizzak lm-22 on oem bmw steel rims with hub cabs that u see in these pictures .. new tires, look really good, we'll see the handling when it snows. And yes i'm putting Sunoco 94 octane; just once i had to use esso and i put 91 octane. Thanx again for the good advise. appreciate it.

Thanx Dave, i'm happy all you folks like my car and i also want to thank you guys for being supportive. honestly it really boosts our morale and encourages us. You look like a pro. nice cars u got there, but i won't go into further discussion as i'm a newbie just starting to learn, so i'll take advise and instructions/tips from you folks for my car and try to learn as much as i can .. i'm really not a handyman and just rely on mechanics completely ..
once again thanks.
b safe
regards
