Description
Imported from Germany in 2004 w/ plastic bumper conversion, Startec tail lights and lots of Hartge H23 bits (steering wheel, skirts, rear spoiler, valve cover, badges etc.)...

Engine is now a 2.8 stroker with custom Ross pistons and a calculated static compression ration of 10.6:1, steel 135mm Eagle H beam connecting rods, balanced rotating assembly, fully ported head w/ Schrick 288 cam, Metric Mechanic SS valves, progressive beehive valve springs, PPM Race billet rockers, VAC adjustable cam timing gear, ARP fasteners (rod bolts, head studs, main studs), Cometic MLS head gasket, JB racing 8lb aluminum flywheel, Stage 3 6 puck clutch, UUC shifter, Dbilas Dynamic indepentant throttle bodies w/19lb injectors, Innovate LC-1 wideband O2 sensor and controller, Hartge SS header w/ magnaflow cat and Remus cat-back system....Ignition system is a distributor-less coil on plug setup using six coil packs from a euro S50. Im currently running this setup in "wasted spark" mode, managed by Megasquirt.

Chassis has a custom fabbed rear subframe w/full toe and camber adjustment, H&R springs and shocks, Suspension Techniques F&R sway bars w/ Ireland Engineering rear sway bar reinforcement blocks, Mason Engineering strut brace, Treehouse Racing "eyeball" arms, poly bushings throughout, 3.73 LSD w/ Z3 diff cover, Wilwood 11.75" x .810" rotors on all 4 corners w/ 6 piston front and 4 piston rear calipers, using rotor hats from Massive and custom made caliper brackets.

After doing the big brake conversion I was disappointed to find that my Hartge wheels wouldnt fit the way I wanted them to so I sold them to a member here and picked up these 17"x7.5" ET38 O-Z Racing wheels ...To get this offset to work on an E30 I had to use 15mm H&R hubcentric spacers on the front and 25mm spacers on the rear with VAC Racing wheel studs. Tires are Toyo Proxes 4 205/40ZR-17.

Still need to do some body and paint work but it's getting closer.

Why does your car have Plastic late model bumpers ?

Should have thin metal/chrome ones?

interesting looking car, more pics please

It came with the plastic bumper conversion already done...Im not too keen on how the rear bumper fits...I'll have to tweek it a bit when I begin the body work.

Where did you get the car ?

It's really different

You should get Hartge rear shirt and side skirts

skirt*

It has genuine Hartge skirts, front valence, and rear spoiler. I have a knock-off rear apron for it but am holding off a bit with that...I'm still hoping I'll find an original one before it sees the paint shop.

I don't think those aren't Hartge sideskirts in your pictures.

You should convert back to steel chrome bumpers or primed coated early bumpers, it would fit the car much better.

These are Hartge:

hmmm...They have Hartge molded into them, came in a Hartge box with Hartge instructions. FYI, there are three different styles of Hartge body styling kits for the E30.
