Van/Burnaby 525i BUYER BEWARE

Vancouver area buyers beware - there is a guy hawking used E34 525i's via Craigslist and Kijiji who appears to be seriously misrepresenting the situation.

There is a detailed post on what I went through over on Bimmer Forums
http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum....php?t=1181439

The second page of the thread has the summary of what my buddy found when he went to physically look at a car for me, what it was versus how it was represented and also various versions of adds with identical text but for different cars of different years, colours etc. Clearly this guy is dealing out of his driveway and trying to pass these off to unsuspecting buyers as his own personal cars - pitched as his wife's one owner car.

Buyer beware.

-Jeff

Hello Jeff,

Looks like you dodged a bullet there, though for the right price it may have potential.

Be patient, the right car will find you eventually. I spent almost a year looking until I finally found "THE" car for me.
