| newbie | JDM BMW E34 535iA <--for pics. Up for sale is my enthusiast-owned 1992 BMW E34 535iA in DiamantSchwarz-metallic (Metallic grey/black) with a schwarz (black) leather interior. The car was imported from Japan in late 07'. I purchased the car in March with under 75,000KM's. The car currently has 77,038KM's on it. Most JDM imports come into Canada with very low mileage, this car is no exception. It is the lowest mileage E34 I've seen, as well as the only RHD BMW I've seen in BC. Another benefit of this J-spec version is more features from the Euro-spec model not found in domestic-market E34's. H1 headlights, side markers, etc.It even comes with the JDM "BMW Japan" windshield shade and never-used German medical kit! The car has all the features typical of a BMW luxury sports sedan, including: -Power everything. Mirrors, seats, sunroof, etc. -DSC-Dynamic Stabiltity Control. -4 wheel disc brakes with ABS. -Dual zone A/C, heat, air recirculation. -OBC (On Board Computer) and trunk mount 6 CD changer. Also has tape and AM/FM radio. 8 speaker audio system. -Projector headlights, foglights. -Speed-sensitive pressurized windshield wipers. -Rear blind. -Self-sealing window trim-less noise at speed and lowers aerodynamic coefficient of drag. -3 mode automatic transmission -manual, economy, and sport. The 535i is one of BMW's safest and most reliable cars. The M30B35 inline-6 motor found in this car is considered bulletproof and incredibly reliable by BMW owners and enthusiasts. The car handles great with it's 50/50 weight distribution and traditional FR layout. Look through this link for more info regarding the 535i. BMW E34 - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Work done since my purchase in March: -Valve adjustment at Valley Eurotec in Abbotsford. -New hood struts. -Replaced IACV (Idle air Control Valve.) -New front Roundel. -Ordered new key. Aftermarket parts installed: -M-tech 385mm 3-spoke leather sports steering wheel. -2 sets of wheels: M-system II (Throwing star) Sport wheels with Michelin Pilot Primacy 235/45R17 summer sport tires, non-staggered. The market value for the wheels in Canada is around 2 thousand. Also comes with winter tires on stock wheels. Never used BBS basketweave spare tire in trunk. -EAT Ultrachip from Enhanced Automotive Technology The chip is one of the best for the M30 motor. It adds more power and torque while smoothening the power band, increasing fuel efficiency, and takes the RPM limit to 6800. American chips such as Dinan's have more limitations due to stricter emissions standards. The car has around 215bhp and 232lb-ft torque. It should do 0-100km/h in the mid 7's, and has a top speed of around 240km/h or 146mph. The car has never been raced or abused, and is always garage parked. It is aircared, runs/drives perfect and is ready to go. There are a few very minor cosmetic issues - rear section of headliner (roof cloth trim) is starting to sag, a few small chips and scratches in the paint. The car is in great conditon, especially for it's age. I've never seen another E34 with lower mileage. This is one of the mintest E34's in BC. The car has received many compliments from fellow BMW owners and enthusiasts. Bone stock E34's will run over 6 thousand in BC from a dealer. The original asking price for this car was 7 thousand when I bought it in March. Considering the work I've done to it since and the aftermarket parts, I think $7,000 is a very fair price. Will consider trades for a larger BMW, E39, etc. Please feel free to email me for more info. |
