| Senior Member | 1990 BMW 525i Hey guys, I am just wondering if it will be worth it for me to buy this damaged 5 series back from icbc, if i can part it out i will. So if you need something or interested let me know... Everything is still on the car even the beige leather heated motorized seats! Here is how it sits: http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3336/...24d9c896_b.jpg |

Blackice's pictures | So I take it they wrote the car off, that sucks ! I guess that is better then having to keep a bent car..... I would think there are tons of parts that would fetch some good coin. But is it worth the time and effort to do so.... Hard call. Do you have the room to store all the parts ? Either way, good luck. |

| Senior Member | I bought my e30 back from ICBC, and it was well worth my while in the parts for myself (for my new replacement) and to sell for spare change. That being said, it is definitely worth it if you have a place to canabilize the vehicle and the time/patience to do so. I advertised on all the local boards as well as the ones down south, I was so overwhelmed with responses that I couldn't keep up in the beginning so don't worry about lack of interest. |
