| Senior Member | 1988 BMW 535i auto faded diamond black on tan 1988 BMW 535i - $1200 OBO 778-960-5319 Craig If no one wants it, it's going to go to the scrap it program in August. But it seems to be too nice a car to crush. It is insured, and test-drivable. No idea if it would get through scare care. No obvious reasons why it wouldn't. Also open to offers for just the wheels and tires - almost mint E39 baskets with new Nokian Hakka R's (newer model from the RSi - unbeatable winter tire) or a trade up from your TRX or bottlecaps. I take your old crappy wheeels and tires (so I can get it to scrap it) and you upgrade to nice rubber/rims. 340 KM, Pulls very strong recent tune-up, oil change. New this winter Nokian Hakkapeliitta Rs ($850 New) Good body, no structural rust, very little cosmetic damage. Nice factory wheels (540i baskets, straight pretty centre caps) Sport Automatic (sport or economy setting, sport holds shifts to redline - not that I've tried ;-) Power Windows and Locks Air Conditioning needs a recharge, pump/switch works. ABS Power Sunroof (motor works but does not open, does not leak) Leather Interior (Minor tears, wear) CD Player works, radio does not (antenna cable is in good shape, its just the deck/player not the car) Premium Sound, 6 speakers (factory) Heated Front Seats Tilt Steering No cracks in front windshield. What is wrong with the car: Exhaust is starting to rumble. Starter sticks when cold (used one in trunk) Some clunks in suspension, nothing serious but should be dealt with to be safe. Outside temperature sensor is broken (tells you the temp outside the car, but you can open a window for now ;-) Rear brake light indicator is on, but the lights work Pad wear sensor is broken so pad light comes on sometimes ABS light sometimes comes on (needs new wire) Pealing clear coat Sticky LF caliper (used on in trunk)
