FS: 1980's Performance Parts and Wheels.

So a local car shop, (which shall remain nameless due to them not wanting randoms off the street coming and digging through their stuff) is running out of space.

I've been bugging them for awhile about clearing out some space, and helping them move some of their rad old school 1980's inventory.
They bought a bunch of wheels in the 1980's, and of course tastes change... So they have rims that have been sitting for 15-25 years in the original boxes, and some also in the front showroom. Everything old is new again, and they're now back in demand.

This Christmas break they want to go through and clean up the shop. 25 years of clutter will get to you like that.
As a result, I once again offered to help them out, and the stubborn old coot FINALLY gave me the go ahead. A lot of the wheels at the moment are boxed up, and I was having some trouble finding complete sets... To start I have a few sets of rikens, including Two different styles of riken 15" 4x114.3, a mesh style 14" 5.x120.65 's, Mesh 14" 5x114.3, a set of 15" 5x108, a set of Mesh 16" 4x108, & a set of 15" 4x100 wheels...

Those rikens listed above are just most of the left wall - the back wall is in some cases two sets deep, and it's a mess - there's ronals, simmons, carrol shelby wheels, american racing, strange bolt patterns, 13" wheels, and unboxed wheels I need to measure the bolt pattern on!

There's also boxes of springs, and unmarked loose koni springs with no part number, as well as some nice exhaust tips (stainless steel, souble walled in some cases - no fart cans!) and when I'm done that?

Here's my current sets of wheels. New photos will be coming soon, too. I have about two dozen more sets from a friend's shop that he's trying to clear out, however these are almost all the rikens. I may also have a set of 16x8 5x120 rikens, however I've only found three and will have to see if the fourth shows up later on. These are what i've established to have full sets of, and these will be the first to go before I list anything else, as I need this space to organize the other messy wall with boxes of wheels mixed up, other brands, unboxed wheels, etc...

Okay so the performance parts aren't for awhile yet...
Also I have two more sets to add, one is a set that's 15x6, 5x108 with 26mm offset multi spoke, and another is a set of the mesh, 16x8 5x120 with 10mm offset, though I haven't actually gotten to them yet - I can see them but they're buried, and one is in the front showroom at the moment, not sure if it's missing a cap or anything...

Also I took WAY better photos, if anyone is curious in seeing let me know.

I think there's a suspension techniques anti-sway bar or anti-sway bar kit up there. But can't promise. Box could be empty, could be missing pieces, etc... And I won't be touching those for some time yet, that's an all day project... If I pull out one of those by myself it'll all come crashing down. I think I might have to get the shop truck and put it on the hoist and have someone pass them down, it's all balanced rather precariously!

Well still in the wheels section. I'm hitting some pretty weird and wonderful stuff at this point...
Ran into more 4x100's. Almost look like old alpinas. Would make excellent winter wheels, and if you didn't like the white, you could easily have them repainted all black, or just the inside of the spokes and leave the machined finish on the face. They're a brand called 'Formula' - Never heard of them but they seem fairly well made?



Please excuse the dust in the last three photos, they've been in a display case since the late 1980's. First photo is one that I broke the seal on the box and pulled out.
Only three boxes and one unboxed wheel in each set so for that reason I would prefer a local sale so I don't have to ship, though if someone out of town really really wants them I'm sure something could be arranged.
