FS: 1989 325IX 5-Speed for Parts

Unfortunately, I have a low mileage 1989 325IX for parts. It was hit right rear quarter. It is Zinnerberot with Anthrazit cloth interior. 5 speed, 155K KM's with full service history. The car was really clean before the accident. The car is in Kelowna. I would like to sell it whole, $2000 obo.

That's horrible, looked like a nice car.

Good luck with the sale...

ugh... too bad this was not last week. I would have taken the whole car. I just spent 700 on a transmission last saturday....

Are the seats sport by any chance?

Weren't you selling this a while back?

Bimmer Adam needs a strut towerfor an IX.

That really sucks, not many low mileages 5 speed IXs, let alone a 4 door.

If you end up parting it out and those tires are the stock size and decent, i'd buy those, and maybe some other parts.

Sorry, no sport seats. We just picked the car up for my girlfriend about a month ago so I never had it for sale. I planned on keeping it as it was a damn near perfect. We weren't looking for an IX we just kind of fluked out and found this one locally. We probably won't be buying another one right away but I will own another one eventually.

I'm not ready to part it out yet, but you guys have first dibs if I end up going that route. I only have this posted here right now and I will post here first if I decide to part it.

A four door ix rare? 90% of the ix cars I see are 4 door. Come to think of I can recall only 2 that were 2 dr. $700 WTF and I thought I hated the dicks at "affordable" before...

4 door 5 speeds are rare, 4 door autos are common.

700 for the tranny is actually not bad based on current use exchange rates. that included tax etc. It could have been worse.
