I won't be parting it out, I'll be crushing it whole if no one buys it. Seriously...

Yes you can! I'll add it to the bill. Bring $6k, take both cars home!

It's a beautiful, original, lovingly cared for turbo wagon, in a great colour combo, with a million service records! The 740 turbo wagon was always the enthusiast Volvo of choice from this era. Last of the RWD Volvo's, and just wonderful cars all around.

When Ryan drove this car, he said to me "It's a total pleasure to drive that car". Now Jay has fallen for it as well. They're great cars.

What do you mean Al, no 2 for 1's? No get one bimmer fixed and throw in a Volvo for free? What kind of grand opening sale is this? hahaha!

I just loved how relaxed it was to drive (maybe I'm getting old) and how much room there is in the back and how comfortable it was for a 20 year old car... Gotta love that extra large space in the back If I had some spare cash... I'd pick it up...

Yeah, you're right! Where are my manners? I'll throw the Volvo in. Oh, did I mention the flux capacitor is causing your door lock problems? I've already fixed it, it was $4500 for a new one.

Those are the same reasons I love it. Big, comfy, relaxed, and an amazing car to do long distance in. Not to mention it's the same car that saved my entire family from death, back in 1988.

Oh yeah, and that BIG, TURBO INTERCOOLER badge on the back, never hurts either.

Al, if nobody buys it and you're about to crush it, I'll pay you something for it, if you'll let me part it out over a weekend. I probably won't have cash till the end of the month, but hopefully it'll be sold by then. If not, I'd like to salvage as much from it as possible, and then just get one of those metal scrap removal companies to take the rest away. How does that sound? Maybe I'll see if Hanjo wants to split it with me or something.

You know what the really really really sad part about that is? It's got less rust, more uniqueness, and more rarity than either of your 02's, or Kirin's. Really can't figure out why no one wants it.

That Volvo was by far the most comfortable car I have been in; I am sitting here racking my brain to think of something more relaxing and comfortable to drive.

This is the car you take on a road trip; you can carry a crap load of gear and not be exhausted and uncomfortable after a long drive!

This is by far the daily driver of choice! And if you do a little research, and spend very little money; she could easily turn into a axe murderer with headlights.

They are not called flying bricks for nothing...

No kidding. I'd love to add it to the stable, but you know I have no room for another car. I'd get the boot if I came home with another!

Realistically though, there are two things it doesn't have going for it. The quick fix is the diff. We all know a driveable car, will always sell more than one that needs work. The second thing I guess is the title.

It's too bad no one wants to put the effort into making this car something great. It really is an awesome Bmw, and with a little work, really could be a sweet car.

But with a diff and a title, she's a $3000 car. And with a 42 year old project car, putting work into them is expected, and part of the fun.

I just don't wanna crush her, or see her parted out.

Fix her, and make it a daily driver! (I know, I know, a lot easier said than done).

On a side note, are you still planning on getting your 323, and driving it around for a while?

1600 is sold! Guys, she went for $500. New owner is picking her up next weekend. She's slated to be built into a vintage racer. I can't imagine a better fate for the old girl.
