Anyone know the tax and title implications bringing a pre-owned vehicle from Canada to the US? Import challenges? Anyone else here NOT living in Vancouver currently?

I know that if you're importing a car into Canada, and it's 15 years or older, it's MUCH easier and requires a lot less paper work to import, than a newer car. Might be the same deal taking it into the U.S.

Your best bet is talking to customs or searching import laws out of the US. I have brought a number of vehicles up from the states and it has been pretty painless if you follow the right process.

Price bump. I'd be willing to let her go for 5500 cash sans the wheels...

K-swiss -- if we lived in the same country your car would be sitting in front of my house right now, probably at your original asking price. Just can't deal with the hoops -- both import and DEQ clearance. Not enough time in the day between work and kids...

Are you talking about the whole car or just the wheels?

Bump to see if the car sold and to bring it back to the top if it hasn't.

Pleeeease tell me it sold or I may have to do some financial maneuvering.
