FS: My 1988 E30 Touring (Wagon)

Hey all,

I'm looking for a new home for my 1988 BMW 325i sport wagon (E30 Touring). If you've been hunting for one of these wagons you know how that they are very hard to come by--in any condition. Manual transmissions are even more scarce. I'm offering a car that has received thousands of dollars in loving restoration and mechanical refurbishment.

Some of you may have seen the car at local (Vancouver) BMW events and have a sense of the level of finish that the car has received. This is a unique head-turning vehicle that has been brought back to beautiful condition and needs nothing but a new driver.

If you're interested in what might be one of the nicest E30 Tourings in Canada, visit www.bmwtouringforsale.com to judge for yourself. You'll find dozens of photos, a complete description and an email link for any questions. You won't be disappointed. Thanks for looking!

p.s.: So nobody needs to ask, I'm selling because I just bought an '05 E46.

Probably the most well thought-out and informative for-sale ad for an e30 I've ever seen. Best of luck with the sale.

What an awesome car and ad!

I really hope you get your asking price AND it goes to someone who will look after it. Serious case of 5 spd envy....
Cheers!

Exclamation Kyle's Touring is Still Homeless (E30 wagon)

Guys,

The price has now dropped to $13,900--more than $10K less than I've put into it. I'd really love for this car to go to an E30 freak. Check out the (very) long list of cosmetic and mechanical work that's been done:

Rust??? Huh?

When a car is priced so much higher than the average it's going to take longer to sell. You just need to be patient. The car is amazing, and the for sale site is the best & most informative I've ever seen. Good luck with the sale.

Rear manual windows? Wierd.

Tim(?), thanks for estimating the repair last weekend and the compliments on the car. I'm getting SO much positive feedback on different E30 forums, just no bites--not even from people who have pestered me to sell the car in the past. Patience is key. Luckily I'm not desperate to sell the car. But would love to pair it up with an appreciative E30 freak!

The market is very soft rite now, I think you are going to have to drop your price even more. I just sold my 89 M5 with 130,000 km for 10G
