Putting Amp cable to baterry through passenger side

Hello everybody, long time no posts. Recently I bought 527i (tuned 525i) E34 with a lot of great stuff on it and now I just need to instal sub with amplifier to make it real cool.
Now the question is where can I pull through amp cable from passengers side to baterry + lead? There isn't hole big enough to let this cable go through (it's thick as a thumb). Seems like drilling a hole is necessary, and the best place for that is where?

Thanks for your suggestions!

P.S.- Hope to get pics of my bimmer soon so you can enjoy watching it as much as I do! Cheers!

your best bet is to run it UNDER the carpets as to avoid running beside any RCA's or speaker wires (high current cables cause distortion of sound through such wires in close proximity, other than that sure you can drill a hole if the fire wall.... just make sure you seal it up to avoid rust. then place a grommet in the opening as to not short out the wire... make sure the wire is properly fused.... BEFORE the opening and your all set

Finally done. There is a rubber seal behind the glove box that can be visible behind computer plastic cover inside engine bay. Made a whole in it and cable went through easily!
I also made mistake to run rca cable along with power cable but since there is none sound distortiuon it will stay there for good! :-D
Cheers!
