New bolts for muffler?

Getting ready to swap out my rust muffler. Do you think it would be wise to pick up some new bolts before jacking up the car? If so where from? BMW? Any tips for the removal? Just degrease the old bolts with some WD-40?

Also the "new" muffler has some surface rust. Should I paint it prior to installing it?

Eberspacher makes a complete mounting kit for the E30. COmes with all nuts, bolts, gaskets, hangers, etc. Should be about $60ish.

I got this kit from IE when I put on my new exhaust. Sure glad I did, most of the old nuts and bolts didn't survive the removal. I got mine from IE in Cali.
