You know what, I parted out a 87 a while back and it had that in there too; I was very curious what it let to and now I am kicking myself for not tracing it.

Interestingly enough, I have owned a 89 and two 90's and been under the hood of a few others and I did not remember seeing it on anything newer than a 87.

I could very well be wrong.

This is most certainly an Al sort of question....

I've seen this question pop up on r3vlimited. That's a.....

You have Bronzit beige? That sticker and colour just stick out like a sore thumb. wow.

Oh yeah. It's an auxiliary fuse for accessories like aftermarket alarm, stereo, etc. Most (or all?) cars should have it but it's probably not used for anything. My 90 has it, but it's located at the 12 o'clock position. It's kind of like the appendix of the e30.

the car is completely stock. ha!

i was thinking: heated seats, fog lights, or aux fan...

it just occured to me that i have never used the air conditioning. since i don't know if it works it could be that.

its gotta be something slapped in the car when sent over to north america, which i think would point to A/C.

All my '30s have AC and two of them had every dealer option in the book and NOTHING... Not spare fuse thing at all.

Ironically that 87 was very very bare bones and it did have it.
No heated seats, no power sunroof, power windows yes, but hmm...
