Anyone going to bimmerfest in COWtown, AB???

I went last year and we have a total blast (even my g/f had fun).

I think we had almost 75 bimmers and it will be even bigger this year. You should have seen the looks other poeple were giving us...all those bimmers driving down the highway.

Here are a few of my pics: http://www3.telus.net/bmwstuff/Bimmerfest/

There were 3 e30 M50's last year and I know there will be an e30 M52 this year

It would be worth the drive and a caravan will be leaving from van city i'm sure.

If we can get a caravan going from Vancouver I might consider it. I've driven to Calgary before and I found it to be a pretty long drive.

Calgary Bimmerfest

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hi Igor,

You met up with the Seattle caravan group last year for the drive over to Calgary. This year we'll be heading up to Burlington, WA and taking SR 20 over the North Cascades Highway, through Tonasket, Colville, north up SR 31 onto PR 3 to Creston for the night. The next day we'll go on to Calgary via Golden on PR 3/95 then CA 1.

You could to meet up with us either in Burlington or Creston. If pick Creston You could do the wild and crazy PR 3 from Hope.
Last year we met up near Abbosford border at about 8-9 am
and by 12 am we arrived in calgary.
We did stop for lunch .

After the event I left same evening

You should go e30_M3 - it was a great show last year and the drive would be fun.

I don't think i'll make it this year even though its only a 2.5 hour drive for me. I still don't have another e30

i would love to go, but its a long distance to travel and it would be nice to either go with another car or have a co-pilot, just makes the trip more interesting.
