So my car is in a yard somewhere in Burnaby.

I was driving along Hastings, going to school. I was in the middle lane, just cruising along, and this dumbass lady turned right into the path of my car at an intersection. She was waiting to turn left and there was someone going in my direction turning left too, so I guess she just didn't see me I braked but couldn't stop in time. I was running around trying to get witnesses but everyone just kept driving I want to make sure this lady takes the blame, because it's 100% her fault. She is a "new" Canadian and was trying to claim that she was turning on the "green arrow." I told her that she means the green light..she said she didn't know. I couldn't believe it. My car got towed by Mundies towing, and I am meeting with the adjuster tomorrow. The damage is fairly extensive, I have pictures I will put up later today.

Was that you ~ 8am this morning on Hastings that got hit by a subcompact?

god damn that lady is a dumbass..who turns into oncoming traffic.

Can anyone inform me on the how the process of estimates/body shops work? I have never been in a car accident before so I want to get the most money out of my car/get it fixed the best way possible. Apparently the estimator is going to look at my car at ICBC early next week. I will go in but then what happens..I would rather just get a check..

Bad news man, sorry your car got messed up like that.
I would be worried how straight it's gonna be after a knock on the side like that. If you want it fixed up I would insist on having it checked out for straightness and get some recommendations on the best shop to fix it up back to original spec' for you.
