BMW Welt in Munich Germany

I went and visited the BMW Welt today in Munich Germany. It's basically a giant showroom highlighting different BMW cars and technology. It is located right beside the BMW Factory and the BMW Museum. BMW offers public tours of both but I'm trying to arrange a private tour. The public tours are all done in German and doesn't really allow for any q&a. More photos to come once I find out about the tour.

The BMW Welt is housed in this futuristic looking building. Designed by an Austrian architech firm the building is supposed to resemble a cloud.

It's right next door to the famous 4 cylinder BMW office tower.

Inside it's very futuristic looking with flowing steel and glass walls and giant screens showing differnent cars. It's actually a very cool looking building inside and out.

Inside they have an assortment of cars on display as well as different stations highlighting BMW technology. I wouldn't mind taking this thing to the Ring!

This thing was kinda neat. Using sensors the large wheel keeps the small ball balanced perfectly on top. I thought it was a gimmick but the ball does actually fall to the side sometimes and it was neat to see the large wheel adjust its speed to compensate.

BMW's big marketing campaign right now is this painted Z4. I wasn't a fan at all of the old Z4 but I have to admit this one looks pretty good in person. The car has less Bangle origami lines on it but instead has some nice flowing curves instead.

When you also come to northwest Germany, you can visit me...
But the distance to Munich is 900km.
Driving with no speed limit - max. 7 hours!
