| newbie | Hello everyone, I usually run the Group Buys with a discount that varies with the number of sales and in the past it's been anywhere from 10 to 15% off. Last November I ran a sale for the American Thanksgiving where I the discount level was greater, but then I had around 50 sales. Most chips on my site are $229 USD. The current exchange rate is: 229.00 USD=297.588 CAD United States Dollars Canada Dollars 1 USD = 1.29951 CAD 1 CAD = 0.769521 USD What do you think if I offer the chip to you at $245 CAN, which is roughly 18% off. They will be shipped by XPRESSPOST, which now costs $13 to BC but will be included in the $245 price. Mark Almost all the BMW OEM EPROMs have those other numbers, I think they are just for quality control, probably the ID number of whoever programmed them. Mark | |

The price is only for the chip. Honestly, you don't really need bigger injectors with an M20B25. I'd only suggest upgrading if your injectors needed replacement. I increased the duty cycle to the injectors slightly to inject more fuel, they are not as maxed out as some people would suggest. Mark |

RadioRon's pictures | I have another question. I sometimes go down to Portland for track day at PIR and its very hard to find 93 or 94 octane down there. I'm thinking of using NOS Octane Booster Street Formula fuel additive just on those occasions, added to a tank of 92 octane. Do you have any info on the effectiveness of this specific product?

How many sales are required to achieve this price? |

RadioRon's pictures | I can tell you that it is dead easy once you know how. Took me about 30 minutes to pull the ECU out and remove its cover to find the chip. Reassembly just as easy. Definitely a DIY project if you are handy. Otherwise, get together with someone who has done it. The chip is inside the ECU box, which is bolted to the dashboard just above the glove box.

RadioRon's pictures | Mark is offering a generous discount for only 5 units. I've seen some previous group buys on other boards that had more people and with lesser discounts. So I say its time to pull the trigger. |
