Question Coolant Flush. What to Use to Clean Cooling System?

Hi Guys,

It's time for my E46 to have a cooling system flush. Just want to know if there is anything I can or should add during the flushing process to clean the system? As I see in CanTire that there is some flush liquid you can buy, are those good for our cars?

Thank you so much
Philip

The best thing is the garden hose. Our water is soft so it shouldn't leave anything behind. Just stick the hose into the coolant resi and have one coolant pipe unhooked somewhere else. Don't bother with any "flush" additives. Make sure you use non-phosphate coolant.
