I think im gonna get some for my e28, 1.9 in the front 1.5 i believe in the back. Anyone have advice/recommendations?

never enough drop. Ive heard decent things about spax springs for their price, but i mean how much cheaper are they really than H&R's? personally thats what i would choose, or see if KW makes some for the car?

I ran a set of Spax springs for quite a few years on my e30 before i swapped out to a set of coilovers, good set of springs only problem i had with them was the front spring rates were too high, it was a pretty harsh ride...
If you don't mind a stiff spring rate then they are good springs, they didnt sag after 5-6 years of use either...

The only ones i can find are 240ish a set. So around the same price as h&r, eibach, just around 25% more drop front maybe 15 in the back.
