Bimmerclassics Dyno Day - November 16

Seems to be enough interest so lets get this going and make it a dyno day and meet at the same time.

When: Sunday November 16, 2008

Where: Dyno is located at 1672 Franklin (near Commerial & Hastings)

Regular price is $90 for 3 pulls for a 2WD car. ($70 for 3 pulls, $20 for installation on dyno)

I need 10 or more people to sign up to get it at $70 a car for 3 pulls.

If you have a 4WD it costs $15 more for the labour to install the car on the dyno.

If you have friends with any other make and model they are welcome as well.

So if there are any questions let me know.

Here is a video of my car on the dyno today to do some testing: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e1wEXQWu9cU

I guess they could be if whoever is operating the dyno is beating the crap out of your car...

We can but it depends on the SEM that you use and if Bob can access it. If you are using Megasquirt it should not be a problem.

Bob is trained to setup and tune Motec and has setup other types of SEM and fuel management piggyback systems. The Splitsecond controller used on the twin turbo 325e at the shop he setup and tuned.

Well the dyno we use mimics real life driving conditions better than roller based units.

Is it bad for the engine? Hard to say if it is or not. IMO sitting in traffic and idling the engine is worse than pushing the car on the dyno.

If you have the programming interface it should not be a problem.

Do you have a number we can call you at?

Another date can be chosen.
