Winter Projects...

Mark had a good idea, to get us past the whole censorship debate.

Whats our winter plans?

Mine? Kirin and I picked up that 323i, which as it turns out, is going to become a parts car. Kinda bums me out, I had planned on using it as a winter beater. Oh well.

Anyway, I've nearly got the Yellow Banana back on the road. Still needs some electrical sorting, and detail work, but after many years, and MANY MANY MANY late nights, shes a car again. It WILL be collector plated, and good to go from spring.

Who else?

Oh, where to begin.

Motor mounts,
tranny mounts,
tranny swap(lower miles, no lay shaft bearing noise)
Rad flush/service
rebuild shift linkage
guibo replacement
swap diff
clutch/PP/TO bearing etc
master/slave replacement
some may not happen if I decide to do ....gulp......s50 swap instead

Need to buy an e30 or e36.
Decide on what to do with the e21. Would like to keep it but it means taking a longer view and probably scaled back plans.
The big project is cleaning out and setting up my Dad's garage, so that it's useful. Got some wiring, insulation and drywall done already.

Yeah, but you've been after Euroweaves for that car, since the day you bought it! Thats nice to finally realise the dream.

Damn, I posted in the other thread...

I plan to pass aircare this winter!

I also plan to pave all the roads in the GVRD so I can drive without scraping small bumps and road reflectors.

You forgot about:
1. Sell extra cars.

Weeman83's pictures

That's the dilemma, I cannot sell the E30 for any real money, as we all know the market is ice cold.

....ooops, OFF TOPIC IS NOT ALLOWED.

Gee, my car and motorcycle are both running fine so lucky me gets to remove all hardwood floors and carpeting upstairs and replace with new hardwood throughout !! I think I can stretch that little chore momma invented for me through the winter !! Oh, I get the pleasure of painting each and every room in the house as well !!!
