| Member | I know this is an old thread, but I'm interested in picking up 2 pairs. 1 for HELLA euro-ellips w smiley and parking light and 1 for fog lamps. I read that you have to do some cutting for install;l i would like to avoid this as much as possible. Any feedback and tips from you guys that are running HIDs from DDM: Apexcone Raptors vs DDM Slimballast. I'm wondering, which products are you running? 35w and 55w and how you like them? performance, reliability and other comments and opinions? Any other advice as to which route to take is appreciated! Thanks! |

| Senior Member | I got both, the ones for euro smilies and a set for the fogs. I have the headlights installed but not the fogs. I can say without a doubt, the headlights are awesome. A simple drilling of the back plastic of the headlight was all that was needed. The product itself is really well made and I would definitely buy from them again. Actually looking to get a second pair of bulbs as backups. The light output is really insane. I have a set of the fogs sitting in my garage simply cause I'm lazy to to the extra work to make them work (a little more cutting to work in the fog units). |
