Need to find a junked '92-'95 E36

I've decided I don't want to hack up my E36 harness for my S52 E30 swap and instead I want to make an adapter from E36 to E30. To do this, I have to find a junked OBDI E36 body, to be sure I'd prefer it was a 325, I don't know if the C101 plug on all OBDI E36s is the same. If they have a junked 87 325e that's even better (so I can hack off the engine harness side, and not have to worry about messing up mine before the engine's ready to go in).

Any leads guys?

well worth the money.... trust me on this one. unless you are extremely keen on wiring and have all the diagrams in front of you, this little expense is well worth it when you don't have to worry about wiring problems or a shit load of connections that will be visible (if clean is your thing). 399usd is a rather small expense when it comes to major motor swapping imo. one more thing: if you're doing the swap, make sure you do things like the water pump, o2 sensors and other maintenance things while the motor's out. SOOO much easier!

GL with the swap man

I trust you that it may be worth the money to you but 400 USD for 2 chunks of wiring harness that are worth about 5 bucks, soldered together according to widely available wiring diagrams, even covered in green shielding, is BULLSHIT. If you can't read schematics, solder and wrap wiring, then you shouldn't be doing this anyway.

This adapter is the simplest thing wiring wise in this job. I also made an adapter with my dad for the 6 cyl ignition pulse to show up properly on my M3 cluster tachometer, which all but a few swaps don't have. People either don't have a working tach, they have an i cluster which doesn't show them anything past 7k, or have an M3 cluster with an i coding plug, which is the same as having an i cluster, just shows the wrong rpm via an 8k tach face.

that's cool. most people i've dealt with undertake the m3 swap without knowing what's involved and it ends up frustrating the shit outta them. you seem to know what you're doing so i can respect that.

please post pics or video when done!

JFYI, just finished my adapter. $20 of parts (Affordable wanted $50 for the body harness chunk alone LOL "affordable"), a few hours of fun work, just need to add connectors for a custom harness for the oil level which isn't part of the E36 harness. Made it extra long since I've heard the connection ends up being a little tight, can always loop it if it's too long.
