Water

Water

k so im going to go to mission raceway to do a couple runs with the schools drag race team, and in order for me to race i have to empty out the antifreeze and replace it with water and some other solution. the question i have is do you put distiled water right , then hes like you have to put this water somthing its avaible at lordco or somthing so it dosent rust the inside of the core. can anyone please clear this up ?

its distilled water, you can get it from save on for about 3$ for a 4L jug. but 2 jugs or so.

I think what you are looking for is Water Wetter, if you mix it with distilled water it will keep deposits and rust from forming in you engine.

If you are just doing one day out at the track, just put distilled water in. Then change the water over to new antifreeze/distilled water mixture the next day.

They want the antifreeze out of the system because if you loose a hose on the track it is very difficult to clean up.
