hey guys,

just had a local race track reopen. they had some car clubs out there over the weekend. took a few pics. hope you like them. it was only a small gathering (not a single BMW), but i think you will agree, the quality was high. too bad i am not a great photographer!!
enjoy lads. (yes that is a ferrari f430 Scuderia- 1 of 5 in australia)

That Ferrari is just incredible

That car must have cost a leg, an arm, and some other body parts to import in to Australia. You guys have luxury tax in Australia as well right ? That would take some serious out lay ....

Who owns it ? Allan Bond ?

or maybe Kevin Blood Wilson ?

yeah it would have been very expensive. i think they are about $500,000. i had a chat with the guy, (didnt recognise him as anyone famous) apparenty this is just a toy. I want a half million dollar toy!!
we do have a stupid luxury car tax. 33% for any car over $57,000. so that means you have to pay luxury car tax on a Toyota Landcruiser!!!
anyway, one thing that the pictures dont/cant display is the sound that ferrari made.... just beautiful... a v8 at 8000rpm!!!

nice cars! my buddies uncle drives a gt3rs identical to the one pictured..orange on black. got a ride in it, god it's sick. looked like a fun day, send some of that sun over here!

it was a fun time spent there. i had the wife and kids with me so we didnt stay all day. i love those GT3's, yet to go in one though. As for the sunshine, i'll see what i can do!!

correct me if im wrong but is that not an e30 (tracked out) above the ferrari in the picture of the side of the ferarri?

ya, i spotted that race prep red car that looks suspiciously like an E30
i can't see the high beam tho... it's either removed or somthing

well lads i will have to correct you!! it was an old Alfa Romeo GTV and it really sounded the business at the start of the day, but was sounding a little worse for wear when i left (after 1 1/2 hours!!!). I was expecting to see atleast 1 e30 out there, but was slightly dissapointed when there was none. not any BMW's at all. Oh well atleast mine will be 'something different' when it is done
