Had to take a second look at this photo. It looked like there was a mini van doing very well, but it's drivers door came open in mid corner !

Seriously, this is a great photo !

Tim, aka lithium and I, race motor bikes back in the day. I had a 1987 Honda RS 250r as well a TZR 250r they were my track bikes, I also had a 1989 GSXR 750 as my street bike.

Here is a photo of Showboats bike, Very similar to mine, but a bit newer. I will try to scan a photo of my bike and post it later.

We would do the local races.... Mostly Westwood, SIR (Seattle), PIR (Portland) The smoothest track I have ever seen...and a track in Calgary, that I think is called Race city now, and raced down at Willow springs once.

That track is incredible. Scary, but incredible.

In cars I have done a bit of Autocross. in my 318i, and hope to do that again this year, as well I would like to get on mission to take the drivers course this year

That would be very cool

awesome, bikes are a great way to race although they scare me to death..a little bit more managable in terms of costs than a full race car. our good family friend out in Calgary used to race bikes also, pretty sweet if you ask me!

Yeah bikes are great, bang for the buck racing, but still. My card was hit one season with 33k worth of parts, gas, oil, and track costs. It all adds up.

I found some more photos of showboat, and he wonders why we called him that, check him out at the Calgary track looking over his shoulder. That is a fast corner, Crazy *******!
