Changing the Battery in my e39 key

Hey Guys i noticed a couple days ago that my key would'nt lock my car unless i went right beside the door so tonight i went to canadian tire and got some batteries. After doing some research i saw this guy on youtube replacing his batter but he used a battery with the code "CR2016" which is the same one in the back of my key. The batteries i bought were "DL2016" Do you think it will still work?
