| Senior Member | License Plates. What are the odds? WOW!! I almost dirty'd myself when I say this today! Sadly, I sold my sixer to a very nice older gentleman who has some serious 6er history and just crashed his six and wanted a replacement. Considering I am leaving; I supposed it could not have been better timing as I am giving him a ton of parts and the car to clean out storage etc. Anyways, what shocked me was when I went to put on his plates that I got from his totaled car on my car.... You have to understand, I put on one, and almost put the wrong one back.... WE WERE ONE CHAR OFF!!! and not like a X to a I obvious letter.. A W to a V!!!! Otherwise we have the SAME PLATE!!! I got my plate in the middle of nowhere on the other side of the Patello bridge and he got his from a company in North Vancouver that delivers insurance to your door! Not exactly close! SO REALLY WHAT ARE THE ODDS!!! A 635 guy, with plates from a 635, going to a 635 with nearly identical plates not purchased anywhere near the same time or place! Maybe I am the only person that gets excited about stuff like that, but it put a smile on my face this morning!  |

ChrisBowyer's pictures | I'm not mathematician, but the odds there have to be astronomical. At least it won't be hard to memorize the new one! Nice little bit of serendipity there. |
