Bad end to a great day...

The day started out really well. Took the car out for a spin went to Tim Hortons on Bridgeport Rd (Top Down and old rock playing...)

My buddy in Coquitlam called and said that he was going to roll his fenders so I decided to head out there. I needed my fronts rolled as the tires are a little too wide and the car sits fairly low. Crusing down the highway, met a Porsche whale tail carrera and a couple of good cheppers.... (could not have been any more perfect)

AND Then while stopped on the lights of Lougheed and Pitt River Rd. BANG... Some stupid chick failed to apply brakes and ended up smashing into my rear end...

My beautiful car, babied, not even a single accident claim since brand new, is now scarred for life....

Sorry guys I had to vent....

Knocked the wind out of me...The sad part is that I am recovering from another rear ender from last year (same thing, stopped at a red light and this dude rear ends my GTS) and now this ...

Stillcreek Collision did some work on my other cars and they did a pretty decent job. Do you have anyone in mind???

Was driving to work this morning and stopped at Timi Hos for a coffee. While getting out of there noticed that I had lost power steering. Anyhow drove it to work and looked underneath the hood and guess what I saw...

The impact had knocked the radiator out of its place and it was hanging with the support of just the hoses. The fan shroud had was rubbing against the PS belt and knocked it out of place. The belt is just about gone and I have a gash in the fan shroud.

Guess will be working on my biceps on the way home....

One thing that I am not sure of is what is holding the radiator in place. From what i saw today it seems to snap into the supports at the bottom and there are two little rubber grommets that are holding it on the top. Is this right??? It seems that I am missing something but not sure what....

Yes he is correct. I finaly got that answer when I found my build sheet and compared the codes. It seems that the M badging, M steering wheel and the shift knob might have been done at the dealership or changed afterwards.

pretty much what my day a few weeks ago was like

12:30 found out my wife is pregnant.

2:30 had a 3/4 tonne work van slam into the back my E28 at about 60 km/h.

Your damage is pretty minor compared to mine ( not saying it doesnt suck, it all sucks ) but I had my 5 series turned into a hatchback.

My seat broke, after all said and done, car was still running perfectly.

Couldnt open a door though, had to Dukes of Hazard it out.

Oh well, on to the next one.

Dang too many car's getting crashed into.

I hate seeing the look of people not paying attention and then slamming on their brakes. I've been rearended twice now and it sucks.

Sorry to hear about your situation Profsr. Sounds and look like quite the hit. On another note do you think we could see some pics of your GTS? I love the AE86 and miss mine terribly. BTW if you happen have the high compression engine swap from an AE92 I have a set of Magnecor 8mm wires still new in the box
