My cars.

Hey guys, I'm friends with 320iCar. I meet a few of you guys in whiterock today.
Anyways I have a 1969 Triumph GT6+, i picked it up about a few months ago for just under $5000. It has a TR6's intake (thats why there is the second hump on the hood). I just picked up some parts from the last owner including spare tranny w/ a overdrive unit, two half shafts, drive shaft, and a 2.5" 6-1 header.
It has 104hp, 117lb-ft and 116 bhp/ton stock but my car has slightly larger carbs than stock so im guessing its up around 106-108hp
here are some pictures of the car

I also have a 1991 JDM Mitshubushi GTO that im working on. it has a firing problem where its only firing on 4 of 6 cylinders. I think it might be that one of the Coils is not working (has 3). But im thinking that once i have it up and running i might drive it a bit and sell my third car ('92 taurus wagon) and then sell the GTO for a E30.
Oh and one other thing, It only has 32k origional km's but needs some body work

and here are some picturs of the GTO

In their time they were considered a "Super car" in the ranks of the Supra RZ and Skyline GTR but were pig heavy. We got something similar over here in the form of the Dodge Stealth. I remember reading about one in "Sport compact car" that a guy in the states had and was pretty done up. He claimed that it was the "Ultimate street car" (better than the Skyline and supra because he owned both of those as well) anyway the funny thing is is that every year SCC holds a competition called the "Ultimate Street Car Challenge" and as far back as I can recall A GTO has never won or even been entered in said challenge.

we had the Dodge Stealth and the Mitsubishi 3000gt (which is the same as the gto). dylans gto (the ones pictured above) is the naturally aspirated 3.0L v6. it makes 222hp. you guys are thinking about the twin turbo 3.0L v6 that makes 300. THAT one is comparable to the supra, gtr, 300zx, rx-7 etc etc. except the piggy fat weight keeps it back. BUT it has a great AWD system, plus it as Four Wheel Steering. BOOYAH!

That GT6 is friggin sexy. Is it true that British Leyland products of the day suffered from rust prone sheet metal and less than perfect metallurgy?
