Another M-tech 1 DB Transformation

Well, finally picked her up from the painter. I'll try to get some before shots after work. Special thanks to Andy (T3rd Ferguson) for making this possible. This is a custom lachssilber metallic with a coarser metallic flake to darken it up a bit and give it some more sparkle. Enjoy.

EDIT:
It all started with this alpine white 87 325is..

Then I converted it to this:

Then I met a guardrail and a tree:

But with a little help from the rear this car:

This Canadian '87 325is:

The front end and door sill strips of this New-England weathered grey-market M-tech1 (thank you Andy):

And the wheels of this car whose owner had no idea what they were:

This is the result:

So...Lots of things to do, far from finished...give me suggestions on what to paint the RS centers. Could go body match, nogaro, silver, black, etc etc...will probably run 2" lip in front, 2.5" in rear.

Ohhh my... what a horrible end to the Alpine car. The Salmon Silver looks great though.

Man, I love Euro bumpers.

I'd say leave the centres unpainted. So much sparkle!! Great work man, immaculate car!

Like Doug said. Why paint them? They look great.

But if you must, silver wheels always look good.

Thanks guys...at this point I'm leaning towards silver, but am still considering nogaro or body matched centers. I will be getting polished outer shells to really set them off so it will look good either way.

Nice rebuild!

After seeing your car I wish they made a set of Mtech 1 sideskirts for a cabriolet

If they did make them now I'll be on a quest to find a set.
