Last wash for a while

Well, I felt a little depressed today about having to put the 2002 away for a while, to do some rust repairs. Originally I planned on doing the windshield area, but since it'll be in the garage, I might end up putting her away for the winter early and doing the drivers side floor as well.

Anyways, to make myself feel a little better I gave her a wash and a wax today, before she gets put away. Here are some pics.

My thrashed interior, which will be another project to get done this winter. Recaro seats baby!

Thanks. Here's a few pics of the 320is I'll be picking up on Saturday, to drive around in while the 2002 is out of commission.

These were taken by the owners camera phone. I'll take some better pics when I get it.

I know I know! Too many cars. But usually it's just the 2.

The '72 in the garage is going through major rust repair (floors done, bother rockers left, shock towers ect.)

The '76 mintgrun will just have the window repaired, and the drivers floor (passengers is fine).

The 1980 320is will be a winter beater, but it seems to actually be in pretty good condition. If it passes aircare, then I may give it to my dad, after swapping out parts (like the recaro seats, and LSD, and 5speed ), and put the regular seats and diff from his '83 320i.

Anyways, don't dog on me for having too many cars, just ask Kirin or Al about their current situation!

you didn't answer my question! I'm curious, because I stopped at someones house long ago, with an identical car, another 2002, and a old red bmw he had in the garage but i can't remember what it was.

No, I don't have a train collection. Just curious, but where did you see the other '02?

From first glance, the pedals seem too close together, but once you actually drive the car, you get use to it very quickly. Having them so close together also makes it easier to toe/heel the brake and gas.
