1st pic's of the new ride (E24)

Hi!

I finally took posession of my sechser, safetied it & even found a set of dirt cheap wheels @ the import-shop that did the safety, lookin' pretty neat, feels just great to be back in a Beamer, feels like one, drives like one, sounds like one, almost forgot what it was like.

These are the pic's from the sales ad

This is with the wheels on now & some together with the Cherokee & the truck

Enjoy the pic's & keep on cruisin'

Nice looking car. The new wheels add a lot but i'd probably paint them silver.

Thx!

I'm not too much of a fan of the gold either, but it's somewhat growing on me, I was thinking of taking them in for the winter to have them completely redone, for the spokes I was actualy thinking of the body color of the car, guess having them completely polished is gona bust the budget a little & I think in silver/gold/polished there's too much an emphasis on the wheels anyhow, I think they have to supplement the looks of the car, not the other way round.

Hi there!

"I love the gold. its so rare you never see it."
Well, take a look @ the pic's, at least in my "fleet" it's not, cherokee's got the same style, total coincidence.

The wheels are (I think) not BBS, but some noname, there's no markings, stamps or anything on the rims, no size, serial# or anything, only the centre-caps have a # & "made in Taiwan" on the back, they're no 3piece either, only 3piece-look, but for $100? They got no scratches & run nice & round, only got some moderate corrosion, was a no brainer...

"LOL on the grass."

It's the furthest I can get away from any spitting elm tree, I'm thinking of putting a canvas pavillion there, but that stretch along the road is city property & u can'y actually build anything there.

"It doesn't look like delphin to me. What color is it Benrk?"

Honestly, I got no clue, haven't seen any sticker yet, it already has been painted, but in the same color like factory, maybe they painted it over, where would I find it, spare wheel mould or engine compartment? I would say it's the same color as my 1st beamer, '81 E21, loved the paint, it did'nt fade @ll, could patch out that 1 by spray can & you could'nt tell @ll after polishing.

There should be a paint code sticker on the drivers side shock tower. At least that's where it is on e30s.
