A little while back, news came out of Russia that an enterprising BMW owner had plated his M5 in gold. Well, the guys at the Russian tuning company Dereiter Racing have decided to take a BMW M3 and give it the chrome treatment. Not just a little bit, but everywhere. Check out the video below. The people in the video are speaking Russian (any translators out there?), but it's really all about the car. Also, for some reason, the tuning company's building has an American flag hanging on it. Not sure why.

Looks great but that is totally nuts! Wonder how much additional weight all that chroming added to the car.

Those guys can barely figure out how to use a video camera, its pretty funny!

Only in Russia, lol. 72% are in bread lines, the other 28 do things like this. Looks better than the gold one at least

Say what you will about Russia, but there's no denying that they've dominated the "coating expensive cars with precious metals" market
