Post G-Power Gets Their Hands On A Z4

G-Power has already given an upgrade to the M3 and the M6 and now they're turning their attention to the Z4. At present, though, the upgrades will be fairly tame compared to their tuned versions of other BMW models, particularly the heavily-modded M6. The first part of the upgrade is a BI-TRONIK performance module which bumps the power of the Z4's engine from 306 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque (400 Nm) to 345 horsepower and 354 lb-ft of torque (480 Nm). The stock Z4 can hit 0-to-100 Km/h (0-to-62 mph) in 5.2 seconds, but with the G-Power mod, it can do it in 4.7 seconds.

Next up is a coil-over suspension system to help you control that extra power through the corners, and there are new 20-inch G-Power wheels fitted with Michelin Pilot Sport tires (same as the G-Power M3). And, to cap it all off, there is a stainless steel sport rear muffler that G-Power says gives the Z4 a more deep, throaty, exhaust note.

This mod kit will be going on sale in the coming months, though no pricing information has been released yet.

The suspension upgrade looks nice but not much of a horsepower boast. Barely classify it as an upgrade.
