Darth Maul M3

MWDesign, a Vancouver, BC-based tuning company, has recently unveiled stage 1 of their "Darth Maul" BMW E92 M3. For those who haven't seen Episode 1 of Star Wars, Darth Maul is a villain who dresses in black, has some black and red/orange facial tattoos, and makes it through the entire movie with only a handful of lines, but a lot of sneers. The color scheme of the car takes its cues from the villain. The body is a Jerez Black, and there are orange highlights spread about the car. The interior is also outfitted in a Fox Red trim.

The car pictured is what MWDesign is calling "Stage 1" of the car, and the changes are mostly cosmetic. The front bumper and trunk are from Amuse Ericsson, the side mirrors, side vents and rear diffuser are from CF, and there are Modulare 20-inch wheels skinned with Falken tires. The only non-cosmetic addition thus far are the H&R springs, although they kind of contribute to the look of the car by adjusting its stance. MWDesign is at work on Stage 2, which will presumably feature performance mods, although that is purely speculation and has not been confirmed by the company.

Lastly, the model featured alongside the car in these pictures had better be careful. In one photoshoot she has associated herself with Star Wars and tuner cars, which is a double-threat in the world of geeks and gear heads. You can check out all the pictures in the M3 gallery.
