| Senior Member | Anyone watch f1? Hi all, I'm a big f1 fan and wanted to know if anyone was interested in getting together to watch the races (when they are on at a reasonable time). None of my close friends are really race fans, so I'm looking for some folks to have a couple of beers with and root for our boys in white. Craig

motoyen's pictures | Brawn and Button have just been handing everyone their ass this year! Making Ferrari and Mercedes look bad. Amazing how a car can go from winning a championship one year to being so far off the pace the next. |

Blackice's pictures | I saw the Turkish Practise session, as well the Qualifying session, But from what I can tell, they didn't show the race on SPEED? Or did I just miss it ? From what I can tell the race will be show on Tuesday, at 1 pm ET time ???? On speed's web site........ Brawn GP’s Jenson Button mastered the Istanbul Otodrom to take his sixth victory in seven races this season in Sunday’s Turkish Grand Prix. The Englishman, already in a comfortable championship lead heading into the race, was never in serious danger and saw his title chances become even stronger than teammate and closest rival Rubens Barrichello retired with ten laps remaining, allowing Button to stretch his advantage of 26 points over the Brazilian. It could easily have been different, as polesitter Sebastian Vettel led into turn one and looked set to maximise his opportunity. However, a mistake exiting turn 10 saw him run onto the grass, handing Button a lead that he was only to lose during the pitstop sequences. With Button escaping the clutches of Vettel early on, Red Bull elected to switch strategies in an effort to overhaul the race leader, but the move backfired and eventually led to Vettel falling behind teammate Mark Webber, who drive a consistent race to finish second, with his frustrated teammate on the final step of the podium. As for Barrichello, he saw a repeat of his disastrous start from the Australian Grand Prix when he nearly stalled, losing nine positions on the opening lap. He then exacerbated the problem by spinning while trying to pass Heikki Kovalainen, and then crashing into Adrian Sutil at the final corner and breaking his front wing. After an afternoon where he never featured in the points, he eventually pulled into the pits to retire just before race leader Button would have lapped him. Toyota’s Jarno Trulli was fourth to boost team morale after their disastrous Monaco GP weekend, with Nico Rosberg collecting Williams’ best result of the season in fifth position, ahead of Ferrari’s Felipe Massa. BMW’s Robert Kubica also saw his nightmare run end with his first points of the year in seventh, with Timo Glock taking the final point. Turkish Grand Prix Results 1. Button Brawn GP-Mercedes 1h26:24.848 2. Webber Red Bull-Renault + 6.714 3. Vettel Red Bull-Renault + 7.461 4. Trulli Toyota + 27.843 5. Rosberg Williams-Toyota + 31.539 6. Massa Ferrari + 39.996 7. Kubica BMW Sauber + 46.247 8. Glock Toyota + 46.959 9. Raikkonen Ferrari + 50.246 10. Alonso Renault + 1:02.420 11. Heidfeld BMW Sauber + 1:04.327 12. Nakajima Williams-Toyota + 1:06.376 13. Hamilton McLaren-Mercedes + 1:20.454 14. Kovalainen McLaren-Mercedes + 1 lap 15. Buemi Toro Rosso-Ferrari + 1 lap 16. Piquet Renault + 1 lap 17. Sutil Force India-Mercedes + 1 lap 18. Bourdais Toro Rosso-Ferrari + 1 lap |

| Senior Member | Start working on next season Hi, TSN covers the races this season. Speed covers practice and qually. I prefer the speed coverage over the dry comentary of Martin Brundel. I watched it at 9:00 last night on TSN. Terrible race, empty stadiums. It looks to be a crappy season for both BMW and race fans as the Jenson Button show continues unabated. I had high hopes for BMW this season, hopefully they abandon this years car and start working on next years as soon as the team owners kick Max and Bernies ass and change the rules back to something sensible. Craig,
