photogirl's pictures | Look What I Did! Smashed up my 1991 325i Touring. I smashed up my car (OH JOY!) ![]() ![]() Went out to meet a friend Sunday morning. I was mentally making a shopping list for groceries for my Oscar party that night, and I ended up taking the right hand turn onto McGill from Nanaimo a little too fast. It's been dry and sunny for a couple of weeks now, so that little bit of rain brought all the oil and crap to the surface. I spun around and lost control. Back end smashed into a lamp post. Lucky for me no one else was on the road at the time. Window is smashed. Bumper is toast, as is the tailgate & hatch back. ICBC adjuster doubts anyone can find parts. CRAP!!!

M635's pictures | Oh my goodness! Are you alright? I saw this ride twice, and looked too nice! It's a bummer... if you like, I got some plastic bumpers for $100 (front and rear) if ICBC would like to give me a call ![]() |

dc42004's pictures | Hi Photogirl, I saw your car at one of the meets back then. that's unfortunate. The damages doesn't look bad at all. The Hatch is really all you need rite? aren't the bumpers the same as other E30's? Have you consider not going thru ICBC? Have u tried getting a quote from body shops? Can someone here in the forum recommend her a shop to go to for this repair? I'm guessing it'll cost about 3G or so. Are they making u pay for property damage as well? if it's jus the damages on your car, it makes sense to fix the car up without going thru ICBC rather than letting your insurance premium skyrocket. Well how much are u paying insurance each year? and you have collision too rite? at least 1500-2000/ year? Other option is to sell it as is to sell the car as is, I'm sure there are alot of ppl in this forum interested for the right price. Anyways, good luck and please keep us updated with what you decide. Don |

photogirl's pictures | Well I went to see my chiropractor today, and she was amazed I wasn't in too bad shape. Talked to the bodyshop. They're waiting to hear from ICBC to see about getting parts from overseas! Keep your fingers crossed. Oh. Bumpers from sedans won't fit on the touring.

| newbie | Sorry to here about your accident. The first thing I would do is give Bimmer Parts in Duncan a call. They might be able to help you out with parts. 1-888-309-8899. I am not affiliated with them in any way. |

photogirl's pictures | Here's the cherry on top - Look what I woke up to find this morning. ![]() Some yahoo decided to go down the street, randomly smashing car windows last night. They didn't even try to open the door or steal anything. ![]() My Bimmer is SO ghetto. Some good news. ICBC is good to go with repairs. Body shop is awaiting parts.
