Track Day!!!!!!!!!

Just giving those interested a heads up for an upcoming track day out at Mission. My Friend puts these on and they are by far rthe best track days for the driving enthusiast. Full throttle lapping day with full instruction for beginners and experts alike.... car and skill levels separate the running groups so it's nice and safe. If you've never been to one and your driving around in the ultimate driving machine then do yourself a favour and come out.... warning: track days are addictive

One cool aspect of these days is that during the lunch break my friend has a bunch of super cars come out for hot laps.... by donation ( $10 or whatever you want to the children's hospital) you get to lap the track a couple times in any of the cars driven by the instructors ( or owners of the race car)..... it's a rare opportunity to ride in something like a carrera gt. Even spectators are welcome to ride. The rest of the day you spend lapping the track in your own car. Usually 6 sessions at 15min each, plenty of driving time.

This track day will be the first to use the new Mission track config...... no more kink, you enter turn#1 right off the drag strip.... and turn #7,8,9 have merged into a giant high speed corner.... it's going to be fast!

Not to jack the thread but a group of the ex-bmwccbc guys and I rented Mission for April 22nd. There will only 15 cars but I'll be supplying rides for free if anyone is interested. All the drivers are at a very high level of experience and we have the track for 6-8 hours. Hopefully I'll get about 4 hours track time....(ugh tires and brakes gone...haha)

I totally agree with murph, track days are addictive and unhealthy to the wallet....

Murph, is the track day you're talking about March 22nd? That insideline price is insane!! That is an extremely good deal for anyone considering track days.

Yes that's the day..... too bad it's on a Saturday though, now I can't skip the day off work and call it research. I don't think we have met but your car looks familiar.... perhaps from one of the days at the track?
